Qualifications

• In this role you will need to posses a minimum of 5+ years of overall DevOps or Development experience.
• 5-6 years with confirmed ability in DEVOPS including Terraform and Chef.
• 3+ years hands-on experience automating infrastructure in an Amazon Web Services cloud environment.
• We seek extensive experience using configuration management tools in a large, dynamic production environment (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, etc.)
• Experience writing chef cookbooks, recipes, dynamic attributes overrides, experience with multiple chef environments, ruby blocks & bash scripting in chef resources etc.
• Experience with ground up terraform code as well using existing shared modules, build terraform infrastructure for multiple environments using same modules. dynamically, resources state file maintenance.
• Practical experience writing terraform code for ECS, EC2, S3, ASG, IAM, SNS, CloudWatch, Lambda, EFS, EBS, SSM across multiple accounts VPCs.
• Practical experience with AWS core components such as VPC, security groups rules, IAM role/policies/assume-role etc.
• Experience with scripting languages (like Bash, PowerShell.)
• Knowledge of relational database systems and concepts (SQL Server, Oracle etc.)
• Experience coordinating Linux servers as well as docker based infrastructure (ECS, etc.) in a highly available, scalable environment.
• Familiarity with agile software development methodology and tooling, including continuous integration and continuous delivery.
• A strong desire to automate processes, build software tools, and create infrastructure-as-code solutions in a DevOps environment.
• Outstanding troubleshooting and analytical abilities.

Requirements:

• 3+ years experience working with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML and CSS, and 2+ years of recent react experience.
• Experience working with REST services.
• Ability to learn new technologies or concepts quickly and independently.
• Strong understanding of software quality and best practices.
• Experience with agile and scrum.
• Experience working with react native and mobile development would be a huge asset.
• You are versatile and have a strong ability to lead software implementations with very little oversight.
